Current Semester

I am on sabbatical for the 2020/2021 academic year. If you have questions about USF Computer Science advising or the USF CS undergraduate or graduate programs please refer to the USF CS Department web page for an appropriate contact.

I am a Professor of Computer Science at the University of San Francisco where I teach classes in the areas of software development and distributed computing. For the 2020/2021 academic year I also hold a part-time, visiting position in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University where I collaborate on research to promote greater diversity and inclusion in computing through supplemental academic support. I recently completed a rotation as a Program Director in the Division of Undergraduate Education at the National Science Foundation where I co-led the NSF Scholarships in STEM (S-STEM) program and worked on the Improving Undergraduate Education program and the Advanced Technical Education program. I am pleased to be part of the core team supporting the USF Community Engaged Scholars in Computer Science S-STEM scholarship program.
